It's important that North Dakota voters educate themselves about Measure 2 on the upcoming June ballot. Measure 2 is a proposed amendment to the state constitution that would prohibit political subdivisions from levying property taxes.

MN Governor Approves Changes to Water Conservation Statute

MN Capitol Gov. Mark Dayton has signed an amendment to a state statute that will give cities more flexibility in the management of their water conservation efforts. In addition to relaxed rate structure requirements, city leaders now have until January 1, 2015 to make a decision and abide by the amended statute.
