Participants in the annual Rate Survey produced by AE2S have an extra month to submit their responses. The deadline has been extended to April 15, 2016. Each year, AE2S conducts a survey of water, wastewater, stormwater, and solid waste utility rates. Two unique reports are prepared based on community population. One is for communities with populations of 1,000 to 4,999 people and Regional/Rural Water Systems. The second report is for communities with populations of 5,000 people or more. Each survey participant will receive a complimentary copy of the 2016 survey report for use in rate-planning activities. This year Utah is also included in the survey of utility rates which in the past has consisted of Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming.
