The deadline for completing the 16th Annual Rate Survey questionnaire is Monday, March 20, 2017. The digital and print versions of the survey were sent out in late January.
Each year, AE2S conducts a survey of water, wastewater, stormwater, and solid waste utility rates throughout the region. Two unique reports are prepared based on community population. One is for communities with populations of 1,000 to 4,999 and Regional/Rural Water Systems. The second is for communities with populations of 5,000 and higher.
Many utilities find the results of the annual survey to be a useful planning resource in support of ongoing revenue adequacy, cost of service, and utility rate planning efforts. All survey participants will receive a complimentary copy of the 2017 Annual Utility Rate Survey this summer.
